and another month gone. thankfully for me, it was a winning one overall. i find it rather ironic that while playing the same game, same sort of levels, at two different sites, that i can win on one and just break even on another.

so whats the difference ? damned if i know, so if you know, please let me in on the secret.

i was going to list the remainder of January results ... but being a lazy sod i have not recorded all the games i played. the only ones i have a note of are the ones i have received a congrats email. whats the point in listing them in isolation ... if i do that, it looks like i never lose !!
and my bankroll certainly says otherwise.
time to start some decent record keeping, then i'll have a true reflection of my play. and of course when i get fed up grinding the $1 level at fullTilt and start playing way outside my bankroll.

friday night there, i joined a few friends ( mair, matty & mark ) at rTr, for our habitual weekly dose of HORSE. good times with more than a few laughs :) this donkathon usually costs me money ! but i actually played half decent and made twenty odd bucks, woot !

days that shook the world - pt 3

welcome back, gentle reader

fuck me, it really got worse ...

as no2 son got better, she sstopped eating and drinking and on the 2nd day .......

sitting in my lap, sleeping, she had a seizure ...

999 ... they took her to Boston Hospital.

i cannot describe how useless i felt, following the ambulance, knowing she was in ther ... sick ... and only 14 months old

it really broke my heart to see her that way. we got to A&E and they said she will be staying in. the docs put her on a drip, hooked her up to several monitors ... and i think i prayed

for the first 2 days she never moved , never stirred.

on the outside. i was a poker player ... on the inside ... i was frightened, so frightened..

on the third day she came round ... i so wanted to grab her and sqeeze her tight, tell her i loved her and let her her know mommy and daddy were there. i could only hold her hand and tell her.

the doc took blood, urine and the smelly stuff. thankfully. all negative. she stil has to go for a few scans ... ecg ?? and mri ??

on day 6 i got my baby home .... i am sure i look 55 now

welcome back, gentle reader

i was suposed to return to work on the 7th ...

a few dys revious to that my middle son fell ill ...

the Winter Vomiting bug ... ugly ....

i will spare you the detail, but he was ill. after 5 ... yes 5 ... days he started eating and drinking. he is a well built little guy, but after this , he was a bag of bones. i wa really worried and almost dragged him offf to hospital ... little did i know ...

he is back to normal and eating like a HORSE thank gawd...

surely it could only get better ...

welcome back, gentle reader

as you may have surmised, me and mrs dD have a somewaht tumultuous relationship. and so to prove a point i took em all to the inlaws for christmas .... and then i left. wuld she believe me? take me seriously ? only time will tell.

in the end i gave in, i missed the boys. i travelled down to lincolnshire on new years eve. the kidz were pleased to see me ... whew !!

as for me and mrs dD ... meh ! relationships... meh !

surely it could only get better ...
